Athletics Program
The Athletic Program at St. Justin Martyr School strives to provide opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular sports activities. Through participation on a team, we hope to provide a rewarding experience that promotes personal growth, positive self-esteem, and rewarding peer relations.
St. Justin Martyr School students in Grades 5-8 can participate in Football, Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball. Our teams compete against other local Catholic schools, through the Parochial Athletic League of The Diocese of Orange. The league teaches students to recognize their strengths and limitations, the lessons of winning and losing, and respect for all involved: fellow players, opponents, coaches and officials. These life values aid boys and girls in their development toward adulthood.

Resource Program
At St. Justin Martyr School, our staff recognizes that–and as research indicates–students learn differently. Therefore, classroom instruction is individualized. However, some students require additional support to master the curriculum. For these specific students, resource support services are offered to help them not only to master the curriculum, but to assist them in learning how to build learning and testing skills in the mode with which they are comfortable. In collaboration with classroom teachers, strategies are implemented with the goal of helping each of these students succeed on his/her own.
Fine Arts
As a staff, we look for every opportunity to include fine arts into our curriculum. All students have choir practice weekly to prepare liturgical music for masses. They also present the Christmas story in a musical, on stage, at Servite H.S. Students are given the chance to sing or play instruments at masses, awards ceremonies, or other school or parish events. St. Justin Martyr students take part in auditions to be a part of the Parish-School Children’s Choir. Teachers work music into their daily lessons and selected classes perform for parish senior luncheons and other special events.
