FAITH FACT: St. Matthew the Evangelist -The Feast of St. Matthew is celebrated on September 21. He is the patron saint of accountants and tax collectors. St. Matthew was one of the 12 apostles, and also one of the four Evangelists (travelling missionaries). He worked as a tax collector in Capernaum. According to history, as Jesus was walking along, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax booth; and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he got up and followed him. Matthew became a disciple of Jesus spreading Christianity after the crucifixion of Jesus. He died as a martyr in Ethiopia.

CLASS OF 1976 REUNION
St. Justin Martyr School class of 1976, it is time for a reunion. A gathering is planned for October 21, 2017. It is time to dust off the yearbooks and find the old photos of that bicentennial year. Let’s get together to catch up, tell the old stories, and share all those memories. If you were part of that wonderful class, or if you know someone who was, we want to hear from you. Please contact Robin Randall at 714/875-8977 or firstname.lastname@example.org or Patty Curran Buehler at 714/270-6698 or email@example.com
