Dear SJM Families,

NEW DROP OFF PROCEDURE:  See the diagram in this IT Newsletter.  After entering from Empire St. make the left turn down the first aisle and left again towards the exit.  Drop off takes place here before your exit.  Pull forward to the marked area.  The new parking area will be at the south end.  If parking, pass the first aisle, go to the end and enter parking space adjacent to O’Connor Hall.
For diagram, please click HERE.

WATCH FOR:  PTO will be selling See’s candies for Easter.  Watch for the  order form in the next IT Newsletter.

CAN YOU HELP?  I need two volunteers to assist with the Lenten Soup Supper March 23.  My 8th grade moms will be attending the Living Stations of the Cross as their children are performing in it.  You would be available at 6:00 for the set up and then the serving of soup to the parish and school community following stations.  Thanks so much for considering. (jjbalsis@sjm-k8.com)

FAITH FACT: Patron Saint of Ear ache and Dysentery – St. Polycarp embraced Christianity at a very early age.  He became a disciple of St. John the Evangelist.  Approximately in the year 158 St. Polycarp went to Rome to consult the Pope about the date of Easter celebration.  The decision was that both East and West should follow their own customs.  St. Polycarp was condemned to be burned for refusing to deny Christ. The flames, however, only burned in an arch over his head.  Then he was pierced with a sword, and the blood which gushed from his wound put out the fire.  His body was burned but the bones were collected and preserved in the Church of San Ambrogio in Massima, Rome.

WE ARE CHANNELS OF GOD’S ENERGY!
Sincerely in Christ,

Mrs. Balsis
